The Padded Pet Car Seat is a soft cloth seat that raises your animal high enough to see out of the window, which most cats and small dogs travel noticeably better for. Padded throughout, 1,500 g, in three sizes and several colourways. Height is the whole function. An animal at window level watches the world go past. An animal down in a footwell watches nothing and has a worse time of it.

The padded base lifts the animal to window height, where there is something to look at instead of the back of a seat.

Questions

Which size should I get?

Use the size chart at checkout, and measure your animal lying down curled up, which is how most of them actually travel. Between two sizes, take the larger one.

Do I still need a harness?

Yes. A raised seat is about comfort and visibility, not restraint. Keep using whatever harness or tether you would normally use in the car.

Is this vehicle-specific?

No, deliberately. Vehicle-specific fitment is the single biggest source of returns in car accessories, so everything here mounts with straps or seatbelts and fits any car.

Will my animal actually use the carrier?

Only if you leave it out open for two weeks before the trip and feed a meal a day inside it. A carrier that appears on travel day is a trap. Our checklist walks through it.

How long does delivery take?
